PA Newsmakers features the work of the Task Force on Child Protection

Task Force member and PA Coalition Against Rape CEO Delilah Rumburg was invited to appear on PA Newsmakers hosted by Terry Madonna.   The show is a rapid fire Q&A show airing across the Commonwealth.  You can also watch it online.   Delilah cites key points about the Task Force’s work including stressing that it extended its focus and recommendations beyond child sexual abuse with the hope that every PA child is protected from all forms of child abuse.   (submitted by Cathleen Palm, Protect Our Children Committee)

 Wednesday’s WHYY’s second hour of programming  was dedicated to the work and recently released recommendations of The Pennsylvania Task Force on Child Protection.  Host Marty Moss-Coane was joined by Bucks County DA and Task Force Chairman David Heckler and one of the two pediatricians who joined the panel – Dr. Cindy Christian, part-time medical director for Philadelphia’s Department of Human Services and Director of the "Safe Place" program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
