    July 19, 2019 Meeting Notice:
    The first meeting of the new Board of Directors is on Friday, July 19th from 9:00 am – Noon. A Celebratory Lunch hosted by the Chapter will follow. Then the Members Network Meeting is from 1:00-3:30 pm.

    The PA Chapter website, penncac.org, has a new Legislative Education page located in Members Only (Passcode: PAChapter123). In line with the PA Chapter Legislative Public Policy, the Legislative Education page is designed to easily help CACs and MDITs find their state and federal legislators. The Chapter’s External Affairs Committee will also use this page to announce upcoming legislation for your support to increase awareness of the needs of Pennsylvania’s children.

    The Legislative Education page includes:

    List of your legislators
    Email and Contact Form templates that prepopulate with your information
    External Affairs Committee with sub-tabs Meeting Reports and Committee Member list
    PA Chapter Public Policy
    NCA Legislative Toolkit

    To access the Legislative Education page go to penncac.org then click on Members Only (blue box in the upper right – Passcode: PAChapter123) Click on Leg Edu on the blue banner in Members Only

    At the top of the Legislative Education page you will see a red banner titled Legislative Education. Please click on the headings in the red banner to access information.

    How to locate your State and Federal Legislators/Government Officials

    To locate your legislators, first select your organization name using the drop-down menu at the top of the Legislative Education page. Next click on the state or federal image depending on the legislator/government official for whom you are looking.

    The state legislator lookup provides you with the legislator/government official’s contact email and phone number as well as email copy templates you can use for scheduling Center tours or visits at the legislator/government official’s office.

    The federal legislator lookup provides you with the legislator/government official’s contact form and phone number as well as contact form message copy templates you can use for scheduling Center tours or visits at the legislator/government official’s office.
