What if every child abuse victim could have their best possible tomorrow?

All children deserve to know what safe feels like. To be listened to and treated like they really matter. To laugh. And that’s what PennCAC makes possible. As an accredited State Chapter of National Children’s Alliance (NCA) we support over 40 individual Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs), helping stop child abuse today and providing healing and hope for survivors. Learn more about what CACs are and why they matterFor kids who have experienced sexual or physical abuse, CACs can mean the difference between a lifetime of trauma or a future full of promise.

Each year, CACs serve more than 16,000 children and their families across our state. What did this look like last year?

Together, we can reach more Keystone State kids in 2022.

Unfortunately, there are still some communities in our state that don’t have access to a CAC or to the full spectrum of services that child victims need to begin their healing journey. It’s our job to change that reality, so every child who experiences abuse gets the response they deserve. We are getting ready to make even more of a difference in 2022. But we can’t do it alone. Here are three easy ways you can join the fight to end child abuse and help children heal.

Make a gift! We’re working hard to build a movement in Pennsylvania, with the mission of ensuring that every child in our state who needs a CAC has access to one. Your financial support helps to strengthen existing CACs and develop new ones in communities that still lack access. Consider a personally significant one-time gift, or perhaps a monthly commitment. Whatever you choose, a donation to PennCAC is the best way to help make “the CAC difference” possible for children all across our state!
